- If natural disasters or other circumstances prevent the commencement of the event, the event will be cancelled, and the application fees will not be refunded.
(Souvenirs will be sent to the applicants.)
Refund Policy
- Cancellation of application during the application period will allow refund of 80% of the application fee.
- Cancellation of application after the application period will not be eligible for refund (souvenirs will be sent to the applicant).
Medical Checkup
- All participants should be healthy enough to complete the race without difficulty. We recommend that all participants receive medical checkup before the race.
- Participants with hypertension or heart conditions should refrain from participating in the race.
- While this event is covered by a marathon insurance for the participants, conditions outside the terms of the insurance (mostly physical injuries that are expected from the race) are not covered by the event. Please make sure to stay healthy at all times and stop if problems arise during the race. -
Injuries and accidents that arise from preexisting conditions are not covered by the event.
Race Time Limit
- The event will be held strictly against the time limit to minimize disruptions to transportation and local residents.
- As traffic controls will immediately be lifted after the time limit, all participants who have not completed the race by the time limit should embark on the participant transport vehicle according to the instructions of the organizing agents. The organizers of this event are not responsible for accidents and injuries that might result from refusing to embark on the transport vehicle.
Number Cards
- Number cards should be worn on the chest, fastened with pins.
- Participants without number cards will be prevented from entering the course from beginning to end.
- The organizers of this event are not responsible for accidents and injuries that might result from refusing to wear the number card.
Disqualifications
1) Proxy participants
2) Not treading on the mat placed on the starting and turning points, and completing the course without staying within the course (Participants without number cards or those without chips in a chip-using event will also be disqualified.)
3) Participants who did not complete the course in time
4) Participants with more than one chip
5) Participants who use recovery buses to move closer to the finishing line
* Certificates are not issued to disqualified participants.
Changing Rooms and Lockers
- Changing rooms and lockers will be placed near by the Jocheon Stadium. Please do not leave your valuables in the lockers. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss or theft of valuables.
Traffic Control
- We prohibit the usage of any vehicles or bicycles and motorcycles for cheering or coaching on the tracks, except for the event-organizing vehicles.
- Event-organizing vehicles must attach a sticker issued by the event organizer in the upper right corner of the windshield.
Recovery and Medical Vehicles
- The event maintains a number of recovery or medical buses for the injured or stragglers. Please embark on these vehicles during the following cases:
1) If the time limit of individual races has been reached
2) If difficulties preventing the completion of a race arise
3) If the medical official or the head referee has ordered a participant to stop the race
Drinking Booths
Drinking booths with sports energy drinks or water will be placed on the course.
Drinking booths will be placed every 2.5~5 km.
Nutritional supplements will also be provided.
Medical Emergencies
Medical Office will be installed in the organizations headquarters, and medical vehicles will be placed on standby during the race.
The event organizers will not be responsible for any injuries or accidents that might occur during the race, but they will be providing first aid.
